Quite some years ago, my husband and I traded in a Bantam LDV for a second hand Etude. This vehicle had been somewhat modified in that it had had its suspension lowered and had mags put on. When I viewed the vehicle, I fell in love with the colour and because we had never driven a saloon style car before, we felt quite "smarmy" driving around in it.
The vehicle was most pleasurable to drive as it was smooth and quiet. It held to the road extremely well and never once did we feel out of control when driving (no matter the weather or conditions). The only reason we eventually got rid of the car was because it was very low on the road and with a family, we were not able to travel on roads that had "humps" in them as the vehicle would scrape the undercarriage. (I had, by the way, asked the sales person if it were possible to restore the vehicle to its original height when we bought it and was told "we do not downgrade a vehicle when re-selling." hmmm. If they had, I guess I would still be driving "THE RED CAR"
